Relaxation & Meditation Evenings

Widely accessible practices are shared in these classes support you to free & focus your mind to bring about the peace & calm that already exists within you.

We all need time to rest and relax in order to live life happily and be at our best, in mind, body and spirit. In the midst of our busy lives, responsibilities and duties, to do lists and wish lists, we often forget to simply slow down, relax and be in the moment. And for a great many people, not doing this, leads to stress, anxiety, low mood, skewed perspective, poor sleep, strained relationships, a lack of self-worth or self-value and, in some cases, illness or pain. All of these are the body's way of asking us to listen to ourselves and make changes.

The Peaceful Soul's 'Peaceful Me' relaxation & meditation evenings are themed classes of 60 to 90 minutes, designed to allow us to explore and achieve relaxation, self-awareness and discovery in a range of different ways, to suit a varied small group. Classes explore a variety relaxation and meditation styles, including beautiful guided visualisations, simple movement meditations and breathing techniques. Some focus on self-healing techniques or the more spiritual side of relaxation whilst others allow us to simply calm down, be mindfully present, zone in or zone out and experiment with a myriad of meditation techniques.

There is vast research evidence showing that meditation is hugely beneficial to physical, mental and emotional well-being. However, meditation is often seen as somewhat inaccessible: the stereotypical quiet, crossed-legged pose, where the mind becomes empty. This, for many, seems unappealing and unattainable. In reality, meditation is simply an activity that allows us to both free and focus the mind. The Peaceful Soul's speciality is making meditation completely accessible by introducing a range of relaxation and meditation styles and activities to suit participants, whilst expanding the repertoire of meditation for those more experienced in practice.
