Facial Reflexology (Dien Chan Zone)

From £33

Dien Chan Zone (DCZ) Facial Reflexology is a deeply relaxing light massage of zones of the face, using a specialised metal tool, that improves the flow of energy round the whole body to bring it into balance. It is a traditional holistic treatment born in Vietnam and adapted in Italy for Western populations in recent decades. Unlike foot reflexology, there are multiple maps of reflex points and reflex zones that correspond to the body and its systems, but in the same way as foot reflexology, stimulating these areas activates the body's natural self-healing potential.

The wonderful thing about facial reflexology is that, alongside the health benefits, it also brings beauty benefits by way of stimulating the nerves and muscles of the face during treatment. It also enables quick and easy self-care, post treatment, since the face is easily accessible for self-massage, unlike foot reflexology. I will be happy to advise you of a self-care plan, specific to you personally.

Key benefits of facial reflexology:

  • Relaxation and relief from stress and tension
  • Brings balance and harmony to mind, body and spirit
  • Helps alleviate pain and discomfort
  • Activates the body's own healing potential
  • Helps maintain good health and prevent disease or illness
  • Promotes recovery from illness, infection and injury
  • Improves circulation to and muscle tone in the face, thereby enhancing skin tone and beauty

Should there be any issue with use of the tool on the face, treatment can be adapted by massaging with fingers if necessary.

Facial reflexology works well alongside conventional medicine, but is not an alternative to conventional medicine. Always consult a GP about urgent medical problems or acute or infectious conditions.
