BOOKING ESSENTIAL
The lunar cycle has long been known by the ancients to not only rule the tides & influence the female menstrual cycle, but also to create energies that enable us humans to move through cycles of our being & our evolution. The full moon is associated with:

  • bringing issues from darkness to light
  • the beginning of the period of releasing (energies, thought patterns, emotions, behaviours, beliefs)
  • more extreme mood swings
This full moon rises on 24th November - so this class takes places just after the peak of the full moon. It is known as the beaver moon or the frost moon & is associated with preparing for the onset of winter. As beavers build & reinforce their lodges before the freezing of rivers, this is a period for decluttering, release, strengthening our foundations & boundaries & grounding ourselves. It is the period where we prepare for coming into stillness.

During the session, we will use contemplation & a beautiful, simplistic candle ceremony to begin decluttering & release of mental & emotional issues. We will also use embodied movement to amplify this & address any subconscious and/or physical releases. We will finish with a healing, grounding & stillness focused guided meditation.

You can use this session to explore & discover parts of yourself, your mind, your patterns & you can invite release, consciously or subconsciously. You may go deep into spaces of the mind, body & spirit, illuminated by the full moon, but you may also simply enjoy the liberation & experience of releasing inhibitions & allowing yourself to move 'how you feel', and relax deeply through meditation.

Thick yoga mats, meditation cushions (or chairs) & blankets are available to borrow.
